In Nigeria, the Volvo was a brand exclusively used by those in the upper class until the products faded away some years ago. The vehicles were in the same luxury segment with the Mercedes Benz.
Since the Swedish auto firm introduced Volvo XC60 in 2008, the vehicle has been its bestselling car.
It is a compact crossover sport utility vehicle produced in Ghent, Belgium.
The auto maker describes the XC60 as the safest Volvo ever, adding that it carries more emotion in its styling than any other car the company has built.

Many new car enthusiasts see the vehicle as stylish, comfortable and practical enough to suit a busy family lifestyle.
According to an online car reviewer, Auto Express, the Volvo XC60 is the smaller brother to the family-friendly XC90.
It says while the latter has space for seven, the XC60 sticks with a five-seat layout, although it offers a generous boot.
The 2014 edition of the XC60 is the Volvo’s entry-level model into this segment of slightly tougher family vehicles, says thecarconnection.com.
Although Auto Express notes that the vehicle rides high, it is not an off-roader, “instead, the long-travel suspension gives a soft, comfortable on-road ride.”
Another online reviewer, Auto Car, says the 2014 edition of the Volvo XC60 is a fantastic family car, with a spacious cabin, smooth motorway manners and a lot of safety kits.
The reviewer also says the XC60 was facelifted in the early 2013, bringing a more dynamic, classier look to the car’s exterior, plus new interior options aimed at making the car feel more up-market.
