ASUU Strike: FG And The Union Fail To Agree On Contentious Issues

The wish for the re-opening of universities in the shortest likely time was dashed Thursday after the government Government constituted managing

group chaired by the Benue State administrator, Hon. Gabriel Suswan in a gathering with the authority of the learned Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, failed to acquiesce on the contentious matters.

There were anticipations that ASUU could call off the strike after the gathering as the nationwide leader of the union Dr. Nasir Fagge had previously said that calling off
